Presentations and meetings aren’t quite our style so we created the SEVENFRIDAY Games, an annual mini olympics where our friends and family from across the globe come together for a friendly competition across two days in a unique setting.
The tradition started in 2014 when we met in Saint Moritz for high speed sledging, skidoo races, shooting and more. Only one person ended up in hospital.
We promise a new experience each year so in 2015 we set out sights on Turkey, taking over a stunning boutique hotel, resting on the shore of the Mediterranean sea. This time games included banana boating, standup paddle board races and canoeing to the closest island! No-one visited the hospital.
The Games are in their third year now, having done snow and sea we decided a 1,000 year old monastery in Tuscany, Italy would be a perfect base for the 2016 Games.
What followed was two days of fun among friends, this year we had 6 challenges, ranging from building a raft through to wine and cheese tasting with a twist!
Mozart Heroes provided the evening entertainment, rocking the roof off the monastery with their outrageous fusion of classical music and rock.
To commemorate each annual Games, we create a watch only available to those attending the Games. It’s a special thank you to our friends and family across the world who go above and beyond helping the brand. This years piece, the P3/05 is a loud P-Series piece with gun metal grey bezel and interface, stainless steel highlights and a wooden animation ring. The hour hand is an Italian green with matching lume and the strap is black leather with padding.
You may have heard about the devastating earthquake that hit Amatrice, Italy in late August. The town was levelled and the rebuilding effort is of course ongoing. As soon as we heard of this natural disaster we got to work on ideas to raise funds for the relief effort. We worked with Tunx Straps to design a new watch strap for the P3/05, limited to 30 pieces, with all proceeds going to the earthquake relief effort. All 30 pieces sold out that night, raising €6,000 for the cause. More details to follow on this over the coming weeks and months.
Huge thanks to all our friends and family who made the trip to Italy this year, without you, our brand would not be what it is today. See you next year in….
